East Langton (derived from the Anglo-Saxon word for an enclosure, meaning "long town") is a village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England. The parish also includes Church Langton. It is near Kibworth and Market Harborough, and the parish according to the 2001 census had a population of 351. Church Langton church tower is a landmark to travellers from the south and the whole building is finely proportioned.〔Betjeman, J. (ed.)
